Letterpress printing is the oldest form of printing still in use today, the first machine being invented in 1440 by Johann Gutenberg. Metal typefaces and blocks are inked and then pushed into the card or paper to produce a very distinctive effect. Small amounts of stationery can be produced at one time at a very cost effective price.
